MARTINA ROGATO

Martina works as Independent Consultant and Social Auditor SA8000, by supporting some Italian enterprises in developing CSR strategies and non-profit projects. Since 2009, she conducted advocacy and campaigning activities in the field of Corporate Accountability for an International NGO committed to protect human rights. 

Martina holds her Bachelor Degree in Communication and her Master Degree in International Relations at “LUISS Guido Carli” University in Rome (Italy), and she obtained a 2nd Master Degree in Green Management, Energy e CSR at “Luigi Bocconi” University in Milan. During her academic career, she spent a semester at Sciences-Po in Paris (France) and she attended a Specialization Course in Chinese Business at UIBE University in Beijing (China).

She collaborated with the Department of Law of “LUISS Guido Carli” and with the CROMA Centre of “Luigi Bocconi” University with the task to support the study and research activity in the fields of CSR and sustainability. She conducted the research for her Master thesis at the Directorate General Enterprise of the EU Commission in Brussels.

In 2012 she co-founded Young Women Network - the first Italian non-profit organization committed to young women empowerment- that she currently serves as President. Since 2016 she authored several articles for Nonsoloambiente.it - an Italian online magazine - and is part of the International Editorial Staff of Lifegate.com. Furthermore, she participated as spokesperson at some conferences and workshops in the field of Human Rights and Business.

Martina is an Italian native speaker, she fluently speaks English, French and Portuguese. She has a good command of Spanish and a basic one of Chinese. During the last years, she lived in France, Belgium, China and Turkey.
