Giacomo currently works as Legal Consultant for NEC Laboratories Europe, where he is the Coordinator fo the AI and Human Rights Committee. Giacomo was an experienced lawyer admitted to Bar in Milan. He was responsible for human rights litigation before national, European and international courts, including the European Court of Human Rights. He is committed to promote corporate accountability and the implementation of UN Guiding Principle on Business and Human Rights. He provides legal advice to business enterprises and other stakeholders during the process of Human Rights Due Diligence.

He is an expert of personal data protection and he is passionate of Artificial intelligence & Human Rights.
Giacomo holds a Master's Degree in Law at “Cattolica” University of Milan (Italy) and the European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA) at the European Inter–University Centre and the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands).
He worked together with Caiazza & Partners, an international law firm based in Milan, dealing with all aspects of international civil law.
Previously, Giacomo worked at the European Coalition for Corporate Justice (ECCJ), based in Bruxelles, and was also a trainee at the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), within the Directorate General of Human Rights and Legal Affairs of the Council of Europe.
Giacomo has also been Teaching and Research Assistant of Human Rights Law at “Cattolica” University of Milan.

Member of the Human Rights Commission of the Italian National Bar Council (Commissione Diritti Umani del Consiglio Nazionale Forense).

Giacomo is Italian native speaker and is fluent in English and French.
