Martina works as Independent Consultant and SA8000 Social Auditor, by supporting Italian companies in developing CSR and sustainability strategies.
Martina graduated in International Relations at “LUISS Guido Carli” University in Rome (Italy), after conducting a research project on CSR in China at European Commission in Brussels, and She holds her Master Degree in Green Management, Energy e CSR at “Luigi Bocconi” University in Milan. During her academic career, she spent a semester at Sciences-Po in Paris (France) and she attended a Specialization Course in Chinese Business at UIBE University in Beijing (China).
She collaborated with the Department of Law of “LUISS Guido Carli” and with the Golden for Sustainability Centre of “Luigi Bocconi” University with the task to support the study and research activity in the fields of CSR and sustainability. She works as a Contract Professor at Ilsole24oreBusinessSchool and at LUMSA University teaching on sustainability and Non-financial-Reporting.
After years as a Corporate Accountability Activist for Amnesty International Italia, she co-founded Young Women Network - the first Italian non-profit organization committed to young women empowerment. And since 2019, she is the Head of Delegation of Women20 Italy, the G20’ official engagement group on gender parity.
Startup Italia nominated her as one of the 1000 women that are changing Italy with her social commitment, and she has been selected by Pope Francis as one of the international change-makers engaged for redesigning a more sustainable economy.
Martina is an Italian native speaker, she fluently speaks English, French and Portuguese. She has a good command of Spanish and a basic one of Chinese. During the last years, she lived in France, Belgium, China and Turkey.
