Calling for global action: Civil 7 Policy Asks to G7 Leaders - Le richieste della Società Civile al G7
On April 20-21, 2017 the Civi7 meeting - that gathered in Rome 60 representatives of the International Civil Society Organizations coming from Europe, Africa, America and Asia - took place at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The Civil7 is the Engagement Group established by the Italian G7 Presidency and promoted by GCAP Italy for collecting the main asks coming from CSOs and NGOs in relation to th 3 main priorities identified by the Italian Government, such as: i) citizen safety; ii) economic, environmental and social sustainability and reduction of inequalities; iii) innovation, skills and labour in the age of the next production revolution.
HRIC has taken part to the meeting calling for a reference to the cross-cutting role played by the private sector regarding the 3 main priorities of the Italian G7 Presidency.
