Contribution to the Italian Action Plan on Business and Human Rights

It is now available the contribution drafted by Marta Bordignon and Giacomo Maria Cremonesi to the Italian Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. The document, presented to the Italian Inter-ministerial Committee for Human Rights - the leading authority in the drafting and consultation processes of the Plan - concerns the Third Pillar of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, namely the access to remedy for victims of alleged violations of Human Rights committed by enterprises. The contribution, titled "The UNGPs Third Pillar in the Italian Action Plan:an assessment of the existing NAPs and of the barriers to the Italian judicial system", is divided in two main parts: the first one contains an assessment of the Third Pillar's provisions within the National Action Plans released by States to date; the second part refers to the the existing obstacles within the Italian judiciary system to the access to justice.
