Our Spring 2022 Intern, Brooke Crabtree, has just completed her internship at HRIC. She will begin her senior year this fall continuing her studies at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Brooke’s passion for social justice and politics grew stronger throughout her internship as she learned more about international human rights issues and policy-making. As an internship project, Brooke explored the topic of environmental rights defenders including the causes they are fighting for and the importance of their protection.
